Fiji-Samoa Trip (September 2007)

Member: Prof. Nadaoka and A. Blanco

The trip to Fiji last September 2007 focused on the pursuing research collaboration with the Institute of Applied Science (IAS) in the University of South Pacific, deployment of instruments for monitoring the Votua watershed (Coral Coast, Viti Levu, FIJI) and collection of additional data for conducting material flow analysis (MFA) for Fiji. In Samoa, we concluded our watershed monitoring and discussed the next step - watershed modeling - with local collaborators.
